On May 25, 2026, a meeting dedicated to World Football Day was held in the sports hall of the Technical College of the Tajik Technical University named after Academician M. Osimi. The event brought together the College Director, deputy directors, members of the administration, and the college football team. The gathering was held in the form of an official meeting and discussion.

Opening the event, the Director of the College, Mr. Nizomzoda Zokirjon Mukaram, emphasized that football is not only a sport but also an important means of promoting unity, friendship, and a healthy lifestyle among young people. He noted that thanks to the constructive initiatives of the country’s leadership, sports and football in Tajikistan are experiencing unprecedented development, and the college team continues to represent the institution with honor in various competitions.

It was highlighted that the state policy on youth and sports, implemented under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Emomali Rahmon, is one of the priorities of the country’s social policy. Young people, as a creative and driving force of society, play a key role in the development of the state and nation. Encouraging youth participation in sports and healthy lifestyles contributes to raising a healthy, patriotic, and educated generation.

Today, sports, especially football, have achieved remarkable growth in Tajikistan thanks to the support of the President of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, Mr. Rustam Emomali. Comprehensive opportunities and facilities have been created for young people to engage in sports and achieve success.

It was also noted that football competitions among students are not only sporting events but also platforms for strengthening friendship, mutual understanding, respect, and teamwork.

At the end of the event, the College Director presented certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts to the participants.
