On April 18, 2026, a productive meeting was held in the assembly hall of the Technical College of the Tajik Technical University named after Academician M. Osimi, bringing together representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan with the college’s faculty and students.

The event was attended and addressed by the First Deputy Head of the Department for the Prevention of Offenses among Minors and Youth of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel Umarjoni Emomali, along with department staff — Police Major Sharifzoda Nigora and Police Captain Azizzoda Zokirjon.

The meeting was opened by the Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, Odinaev Rahmonali, who noted that the main purpose of such meetings is to enhance the legal awareness of young people and protect them from the influence of various interest groups.

Police Colonel Umarjoni Emomali then delivered a speech, analyzing the current global situation and calling on young people to maintain political awareness and national self-consciousness. He emphasized that youth are a constructive force of the state, and any careless action on social media can endanger their bright future.

Additionally, department staff — Police Major Sharifzoda Nigora and Police Captain Azizzoda Zokirjon — shared valuable insights on preventing drug abuse, youth hooliganism, and the importance of strictly adhering to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the Responsibility of Parents for the Education and Upbringing of Children.”
