International Relations of the Technical College of Tajik Technical University named after Academician M. Osimi

The administration of the Technical College of Tajik Technical University named after Academician M. Osimi actively develops cooperation with foreign partners. Collaboration with international organizations and institutions is aimed at improving the professional qualifications of teaching staff, strengthening the material and technical base of the educational institution, sending students abroad, attracting foreign specialists to the educational process, and obtaining grant funding from international sources.

In order to develop the college’s activities, restore partnership relations with foreign educational and scientific institutions, obtain grants and attract foreign investors, enroll international students from near and far abroad, and send students and teachers abroad for exchange of experience, it became necessary to establish an International Relations Department within the college structure.

The International Relations Department is a new structural unit of the Technical College of Tajik Technical University named after Academician M. Osimi. The department began its activities on October 5, 2015. According to the staffing schedule, the department consists of two staff members:

  • Deputy Director for International Relations;

  • Head of the International Relations Department.

Within a short period of time, the department developed and approved the Regulations of the International Relations Department and job descriptions for its staff.
In order to attract international students to study at the Technical College, an action plan was developed and the necessary measures were implemented.

Strategic development programs for 2015–2019 and 2020–2025 were prepared, aimed at attracting foreign investors, restoring partnership relations with secondary vocational education institutions, and sending students and teachers abroad for academic and professional exchange.
