The following guests participated and spoke at the conference: Khurshed Bobokhodzhaevich Nazirov, PhD (Engineering), Associate Professor of the Electric Power Engineering Department at the Dushanbe branch of the National Research University-Moscow Power Engineering Institute; and Loik Safarovich Kasobov, PhD (Engineering), Associate Professor of the Electric Power Engineering Department at the M.S. Osimi Technical College of the Tajik State Technical University.
The conference was opened by Nizomzoda Zokirjon Mukaram, Director of the Technical College, who congratulated the participants on Energy Workers’ Day. He noted that the development of the energy sector has always been a focus of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan over the 34 years of our beloved country’s independence. December 22 marks the 89th anniversary of the establishment of the energy system in the Republic of Tajikistan.

During this period, the energy sector has achieved significant progress and development, and today plays a crucial role in the development and growth of the country’s economy and society.
It is worth noting that, on the instructions and orders of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, special attention was paid to the construction of energy facilities and the development of the energy sector as a whole. The head of state, recognizing that no country can ensure its development without developing its energy sector, identified energy independence and the efficient use of electricity as one of the state’s strategic goals.

It is worth noting that, at the instruction of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Honorable Emomali Rahmon, special attention was paid to the construction of energy facilities and the development of the energy sector as a whole. Then, in accordance with the conference program, Nazirov Khurshed Bobokhodzhaevich, PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor of the Department of Electric Power Engineering at the Dushanbe branch of the National Research University – Moscow Power Engineering Institute, presented a report on “Development of a Methodology for the Optimal Integration of Large Solar Power Plants into Electric Power Systems.” Kasobov Loik Safarovich, PhD in Engineering, Associate Professor of the Department of Electric Power Engineering at the M.S. Osimi presented a paper on “The Status and Development Prospects of Solar Energy in the Republic of Tajikistan,” and Nurov Nurullo Rajabovich, PhD in Engineering and Associate Professor in the Department of Electric Power Engineering at the M. Osimi State Technical University, presented a paper on “Use of Renewable Energy Sources.”

Following the presentations, a question-and-answer session was held between the participants and the speakers, where the speakers provided detailed answers to the questions posed, boosting the morale of the faculty and students.

A total of 35 papers in Tajik and Russian were presented at the conference, and after review by the preparatory group, all were included in the conference proceedings and published.

At the end of the conference, dedicated to Energy Workers’ Day, the speakers and several current faculty members were awarded certificates of honor from the technical college council.
