On June 19, 2026, a cultural and educational event entitled “National Unity Is the Foundation of the Nation’s Survival” was held at the Cultural Hall of the Technical College of the Tajik Technical University named after Academician M.S. Osimi to commemorate the 29th anniversary of National Unity Day.

The event was attended by the distinguished Tajik poet and writer Ato Mirkhoja, recipient of the State Prize of the Republic of Tajikistan named after Abuabdullo Rudaki, winner of the Mirzo Tursunzoda Literary Prize, Editor-in-Chief of the national literary magazine “Sadoi Sharq,” member of the Dushanbe City Council, as well as members of the administration, Academic Council, and teaching staff of the college.

The event was opened by the Director of the College, Mr. Zokirjon Mukaram Nizomzoda, who congratulated the participants on National Unity Day and emphasized that national unity is a sacred and historic achievement of the Tajik people during the years of independence. Thanks to the consistent efforts of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, peace, stability, and social cohesion were successfully restored and strengthened throughout the country.

The speakers highlighted the unique role of national unity in strengthening statehood, ensuring peace and stability, promoting science, education, and culture, and fostering patriotism and civic responsibility among young people.

Following the official speeches, the college’s cultural department presented an engaging musical program. Talented students performed songs dedicated to Tajikistan, peace, unity, and love for the Motherland.

At the conclusion of the event, it was emphasized that national unity serves not only as the foundation of a stable state but also as a key driving force for the further development of science, culture, and education in the Republic of Tajikistan.
