Within the framework of the International Skills Forum Tajikistan – 2026, held at the Skills Development Center in Danghara District, Zoirjon Hakimov, Deputy Director for International Relations, and Parviz Safarzoda, Head of the International Relations Department of the Technical College of the Tajik Technical University named after Academician M. Osimi, actively participated in the forum’s activities.

During the forum, representatives of the Technical College held productive meetings and discussions with development partners, including representatives of GIZ. The parties discussed opportunities for cooperation in vocational education, exchange of experience, and the implementation of joint projects.

In addition, working meetings were organized with representatives of six vocational education institutions from the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, the People’s Republic of China, and the Republic of Türkiye. Discussions focused on the preparation and consideration of draft cooperation memorandums.

During the meetings, the participants discussed student and faculty exchanges, the organization of joint internships and practical training, the implementation of innovative educational programs, and the expansion of international cooperation.

Particular attention was given to discussing draft cooperation memorandums with the following institutions:

  1. Taldykorgan Industrial College under the Department of Education of the Zhetysu Region, Republic of Kazakhstan;
  2. College of Energy and Electronic Technologies of Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan;
  3. Tekeli Vocational College of the Zhetysu Region, Republic of Kazakhstan;
  4. Advanced Vocational Skills Technical School of Bukhara, Republic of Uzbekistan;
  5. Technical School No. 1 of the Samarkand Region, Republic of Uzbekistan;
  6. Technical School No. 1 of Pakhtachi District, Republic of Uzbekistan.

The parties discussed the exchange of educational experience, student and faculty mobility, organization of joint practical training, implementation of modern educational technologies, and further development of international cooperation. As a result of the negotiations, a preliminary agreement was reached regarding the preparation and coordination of cooperation memorandums between the institutions.

These meetings provide a solid foundation for expanding the international partnerships of the Technical College and strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign vocational education institutions.
