Within the framework of a series of festive cultural events organized by higher and secondary vocational educational institutions of Dushanbe city, on May 18, 2026, the administration of the Technical College of TTU named after Academician M. Osimi organized a cultural and entertainment event entitled “Youth — the Future Strength of the Nation” dedicated to Tajikistan Youth Day and the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan at the cultural and recreational park named after Cyrus the Great.
The event was actively attended by representatives of the Committee for Youth and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, representatives of the Youth Affairs Department of the Executive Authority of Shohmansur District of Dushanbe city, as well as employees, teachers, and students of the Technical College.
During the event, Roziqzoda Diloshub, representative of the Committee for Youth and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, together with representatives of the Technical College, delivered speeches congratulating the audience on the occasion of Youth Month. They noted that the Government of Tajikistan considers youth to be a powerful constructive force and the driving factor of all spheres of the country’s life, while issues related to the life, education, and activities of young people are recognized as one of the priority directions of the state’s social policy. The Government of Tajikistan associates the preservation and strengthening of national independence, the building of a modern state, and its future development with the direct contribution of youth and strives, through available opportunities, to continuously improve the socio-economic conditions of young people and create the necessary conditions for their comprehensive development.
The speakers also emphasized that organizing such events contributes to creating a favorable cultural and recreational environment, strengthening the intellectual and creative potential of youth, raising the level of cultural awareness, and reinforcing the sense of national identity and pride.
As part of the continuation of the event, exhibitions of folk crafts, books, and a colorful cultural program were presented to the participants. In particular, performances by young artists, poetry recitations, educational theatrical scenes, and live music performances made the atmosphere of the event even more engaging and memorable.
The event was held in a festive and ceremonial atmosphere, and the participants spent their time with feelings of patriotism, mutual understanding, and national pride.
