On May 14, 2026, an event dedicated to the Youth Month under the title “One Day of Youth” was held in the cultural hall of the Technical College of TTU named after Academician M. Osimi.
The event was attended by Saodati Isayni — representative of the Committee for Youth and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Azimov Kholiknazar — Deputy Director for Science and Innovation, Safarov Ilhomjon — Deputy Director for Educational Affairs, Rahmonzoda Muhammadsaid — Head of the Organizational and Educational Department of the Technical College of TTU named after Academician M. Osimi, as well as teachers and students.
The event was opened by the Deputy Director for Science and Innovation, Azimov Kholiknazar, who spoke about the role of youth in the socio-economic development of the country and the contribution of vocational educational institutions to the training of young specialists. He emphasized that young people are the driving force of society and should contribute to the development and progress of beloved Tajikistan through knowledge, broad outlook, and a strong sense of patriotism. He stated that in the 21st century, which is the era of rapid technological development and artificial intelligence, it is educated and innovative youth who can elevate the national economy to a new level. The Technical College is also making efforts to provide students with all modern scientific and research conditions so that they can implement their innovative projects and make a worthy contribution to the rapid industrialization of the country.
Afterwards, Saodati Isayni, representative of the Committee for Youth and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, delivered a speech highlighting the importance of organizing Youth Month activities in educating a healthy generation and strengthening national self-awareness. She noted that today’s youth must remain politically vigilant and, alongside studying modern science and technologies, remain loyal to the history and culture of their nation and protect national values.
In addition, Deputy Director for Educational Affairs Safarov Ilhomjon stated that fostering patriotism among young people and protecting them from various extremist movements is one of the institution’s primary responsibilities. He added that college students should serve as examples of good morals, discipline, and responsibility, and should use their time effectively.
At the end of the event, active students were awarded certificates of appreciation for their valuable contribution to the social life of the college and their active participation in youth activities.
