On December 16, 2025, I eagerly watched the Annual Message of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, which was presented to the Majlisi Oli (Supreme Assembly). In it, the key aspects of the country’s domestic and foreign policies were discussed in detail.

As a teacher, who has raised my children through this noble profession, I was eagerly awaiting this historical day. The President’s message is again an important strategic document for the sustainable development of the state and society, especially in the fields of education, vocational training, culture, and also contains guidance for Tajik women. Each word of the message is full of wisdom and life lessons.

As a teacher, I feel that the President’s message increases our responsibility for educating the younger generation. The message emphasizes that education is the foundation of a law-based state, and investing in science and education is an investment in the future of the people and the nation. Personally, I have accepted this as a guide for my work and use it in my daily activities. I strive to educate my students with modern knowledge, a broad worldview, and a strong sense of patriotism.

The signing of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the Status of the Teacher” by President Emomali Rahmon made us, teachers, very happy. I would like to note that starting from September 1, 2026, if the salaries of other categories of workers increase by 20%, the salaries of teachers will increase by 25%. This shows that the Leader of the Nation has great respect for teachers.

In this year’s message, our esteemed President also pointed out that we should not allow ourselves to be deceived by foreign cultures and that Tajik women and girls should refrain from wearing black clothes and superstitions. Especially for me, as a teacher and a creative person, this point was very important. When the President delivered his message, I remembered the advice of my teacher father, who raised us in the spirit of freedom. Indeed, it is clear that our President is the best teacher.

The message also touched on the development of human resources, enhancing culture, and the status of teachers, as well as improving the education system, all of which are top priorities. The President noted that by using modern educational technologies, improving the qualifications of teachers, and adapting the educational programs to the requirements of the time, we must strive to meet the current standards. The orders and guidance of our Leader of the Nation encourage us to continually improve our knowledge and consistently introduce new teaching methods into the educational process.

The message also addressed the issue of moral and ethical education of youth, respect for national values, national self-awareness, and resistance to negative phenomena in society. It was noted that the 5500th anniversary of Sarazm was not proven by me but by world scientists. The 1150th anniversary of Robiya Balkhi is a source of pride for us. As a teacher, I feel that we play a key role in this process, as educational institutions are the main environment for shaping the personality of a student.

The message of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President Emomali Rahmon, is an important guide and action plan for all of us teachers. Personally, this message urges me to take on more responsibility and, with sincere labor, to educate my students in the spirit of self-awareness and patriotism.
