On March 28, 2026, the International Nowruz was celebrated with great splendor at the Technical College of TTU named after academician M. Osimi, under the theme “Nowruz – the embodiment of national culture.”
The event was actively attended by Safarzoda Hamza, Director of the College of Informatics and Computer Technology of Dushanbe, Amrullozoda Sino, Director of the Technology College of Dushanbe, the college administration, teachers, staff, as well as students of the Technical College.
First, the college director, Nizomzoda Zakirjon Mukaram, addressed the audience, congratulating everyone on the arrival of Nowruz, emphasizing that the holiday symbolizes the revival of nature, the triumph of warmth over cold, the balance of day and night, the beginning of farmers’ work, and thousands of other good deeds, calling everyone to purity and diligence, which are the blessings of life.
It was noted that the celebration of Nowruz truly testifies that in the ancient and historically fertile land of the Tajiks, Nowruz has arrived.
Nowruz is considered one of the greatest, most beautiful, and sacred national holidays of the Tajiks, reflecting the ancient, historical, and culturally advanced nature of the people. This magnificent holiday has a history of over six thousand years and has been inherited as a rich legacy from ancestors.
Thanks to the unique initiatives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, this ancestral holiday has gained international recognition.
Nowruz is a historic holiday that plays an important role in strengthening peace and stability. Its traditions and customs reflect the culture and civilization of both the East and the West.
After the director’s speech, guests and the college administration viewed the festive Nowruz tables arranged by the faculties. All faculties decorated tables with “Haft Sin” and “Haft Shin,” symbolizing the arrival of the gentle spring.
Next, a cultural program was held, in which the college’s cultural team delighted the audience with dances and songs.
At the conclusion, a number of experienced teachers, outstanding and active students were honored by the college administration with Certificates of Honor and Letters of Appreciation.
Finally, the college administration expressed gratitude to all organizers of this magnificent event on behalf of the teaching staff, employees, and students.
