In order to implement the decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, on February 18 of the current year, the first (institutional) round of the republican competition “The Book is the Light of the Morning of Knowledge” was held in the library hall of the Technical College of the Tajik Technical University named after Academician M. Osimi.
At the beginning of the event, the Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, Odinayev Rahmonali, explained the content and objectives of the competition to the participants and introduced the members of the competition commission. He then informed the participants about the benefits and opportunities of the competition and wished them success.
Afterwards, the Deputy Director for Science and Innovation, Azimov Kholiqnazar, delivered a speech emphasizing that the faculty members and students of the Technical College are obliged to support the educational policy pursued by the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, in all fields of science and knowledge. He noted that the republican competition “The Book is the Light of the Morning of Knowledge” is organized at the initiative of the Leader of the Nation and is conducted across the country in four stages. Currently, the first stage of the competition is being held.
Fortunately, in the first round of the competition, 8 teachers and 76 students and pupils participated in various nominations.
According to the list submitted by the Head of the Department of Languages, Rahimzoda Bahodur, a total of 84 participants from different nominations, representing the faculties and the department of primary vocational education, took part in the first round.
At the conclusion of the first round, held in the college library, the commission summarized the results and decided that the mentioned teachers, students, and pupils would advance to the district stage of the competition.
Finally, the winners of the first round were instructed to strive for the prestige of the college, prepare thoroughly for the district stage, and достойно represent themselves and their institution.
