On the initiative of the Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan in Shohmansur district, and in celebration of World Football Day, on May 20, 2026, a sports festival titled “Football Fest” was held at the “Mirzobek” sports ground in the Gulobod neighborhood of Shohmansur district.
The event was held at a high level with the participation of a wide range of members and supporters of the PDPT, heads of committees and primary party organizations of Shohmansur district, youth and teenagers, football fans, representatives of various institutions and organizations, sports veterans, civil society activists, and local residents.
It is a matter of pride that the women’s team of the Technical College of Tajik Technical University named after Academician M. Osimi achieved a prize-winning place in the mini-football competition among women’s teams of committees and primary party organizations within the “Football Fest” held in celebration of World Football Day.
