On May 12, 2026, the first round of the Republican competition “Best Expert on the Works of the Leader of the Nation” was held among the students of the faculties of the Technical College of TTU named after Academician M. Osimi in the hall of the Academic Council of the college.
At the beginning of the event, the Deputy Director for Science and Innovation, Azimov H.H., explained the objectives and content of the competition to the participants, clarified its advantages, and wished them success. He noted that the teaching staff and students of the Technical College are obliged to support the educational and enlightenment-oriented policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, in all fields of science and education.
In order to honor the glorious history of the Tajik people, deeply and comprehensively study the noble activities of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, in saving the state and strengthening national unity, building a new model of a democratic, law-based, secular, and unified Tajik state under new historical conditions, as well as promoting the study of the school of statehood of the Leader of the Nation among the country’s youth, especially students of secondary and higher vocational educational institutions, the Republican competition “Best Expert on the Works of the Leader of the Nation” is being organized.
As is known, this competition is conducted on the basis of the “Schedule for Holding Anniversaries, Festivals, Exhibitions, Holidays, Cultural and Educational Competitions, and Folk Traditions and Crafts in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2026,” approved by the Order of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on January 2, 2026, and organized at the initiative of the State Institution “National Library” of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
At this stage, the first round of the competition was held.
It should be noted that according to the regulations, the Republican competition “Best Expert on the Works of the Leader of the Nation” consists of two rounds and is held from May to October 2026.
According to the regulations, the participants’ knowledge was evaluated based on the following criteria:
- detailed knowledge of the works of the Leader of the Nation;
- knowledge about the life and activities of the Leader of the Nation;
- the ability to narrate and interpret the events of the period of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan;
- presentation of important excerpts from the works, justification of achievements, accomplishments, and constructive activities of the Leader of the Nation;
- knowledge of important legal and regulatory documents concerning the status of the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan;
- knowledge of the historical and cultural material and spiritual heritage of the Tajik people;
- knowledge of historical sources and scientific-literary works used in the writings of the Leader of the Nation;
- public speaking skills, fluency, and presentation abilities.
The winners of the first round of the competition were also determined and received qualification for participation in the second round. Recommendations were provided to help them prepare more seriously for the next stage.
At the conclusion of the event, the winners of the first round were instructed to strive for the prestige of the college, prepare thoroughly for the final stage of the competition, and worthily represent both themselves and the college.
