n order to implement the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, dated January 1, 2026, No. 949, and in accordance with the instruction of the Committee for Primary and Secondary Vocational Education under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the first (institutional) round of the republican competition “Tajikistan — My Beloved Homeland” was held on February 26, 2026, in the assembly hall of the Technical College of TTU named after Academician M. Osimi.

The event was attended by the Deputy Director for Science and Innovation, the Deputy Director for Educational Affairs, the Head of the Organizational and Educational Department, the Head of the Cultural Department, the Head of the Languages Department, the Head of the Youth Affairs Department, the Head Librarian, members of the established commission, as well as pupils and students.

At the beginning of the event, Deputy Director for Science and Innovation Kholiknazar Azimov addressed the participants, explained the essence of the competition, and noted that the republican competition “Tajikistan — My Beloved Homeland” has been held for eight years under the attention and patronage of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon. The competition aims to identify new talents in musical art, vocal performance, fine arts, and design, to enhance professional skills and aesthetic appreciation, to promote high-level artistic performance, to popularize and revive folk crafts, to present the rich culture of the Tajik nation, to honor ancestral traditions, to evaluate the professional level of new musical works and creative productions, and to select the best songs, melodies, and artworks reflecting both the historical and contemporary culture of the Tajik people.

Subsequently, the Head of the Organizational and Educational Department, Muhammadsaid Rahmonzoda, and the Head of the Cultural Department, Nuriniso Akramova, delivered speeches, emphasizing that the republican competition “Tajikistan — My Beloved Homeland” is an important cultural and artistic event held annually at a high organizational level. Its main objective is to discover new talents in music, vocal performance, fine arts, and design, as well as to enhance professional skills, aesthetic values, revive traditional crafts, and promote the rich culture of the ancient Tajik nation.

Twelve students participated in the competition in the nominations of fine arts and vocal performance. According to the established requirements, they demonstrated their skills and abilities, showing their level of theoretical and practical preparedness. The questions and tasks were prepared in accordance with the competition requirements, and the evaluation was conducted transparently and fairly by the jury.

At the conclusion of the first round, the commission decided to advance the selected students and pupils to the district stage of the competition.

Participation in republican competitions, on the one hand, helps discover new figures in the high national art of Tajikistan, and on the other hand, supports adolescents and young people in pursuing their chosen paths.
