With the aim of sustainable development of libraries, strengthening their material and technical base, expanding and improving the use of books in organizations and institutions, state and public enterprises and offices, attracting library science specialists to libraries, and enhancing the intellectual and spiritual potential of the capital’s residents, the city competition “Best Library” is held and summarized annually in Dushanbe.
It is a matter of pride that on January 16, 2026, the Head of the Library of the Technical College of the Tajik Technical University named after Academician M. Osimi — Mavjuda Turdieva — won first place in the city competition “Best Library” in the nomination “Best Family Library.”
