The Department of Primary Vocational Education is one of the structural units of the Technical College and operates in accordance with regulatory legal documents.
Training at the level of primary vocational education is organized in two formats:
a two-year program after completion of Grade 9;
a one-year program after completion of Grade 11.
After Grade 9, students study in the first and second years in 8 specialties in accordance with the licensing annex:

3-430151 – Technical Operation of Power Plant Equipment and Networks.
After Grade 11, training is provided in 7 specialties:

3-37015203 – Auto Electrician;
3-39025202 – Radio Mechanic for Repair of Radio-Electronic Equipment;
3-46015102 – Construction Master;
3-37015201 – Automotive Engine Repair Mechanic;
3-480154 – Mineral Processing.
Issues related to the quality of education and student attendance were discussed four times at meetings of the Academic Council, three times at the Educational-Methodological Council, and three times at meetings under the Director.Orders on student admission, transfer from course to course, and graduation are available and stored in the Human Resources and Special Documentation Department.All academic groups are provided with academic registers. Teachers and group supervisors maintain and complete the registers in a timely manner. Examination and assessment sheets are available at the faculties, and session results are stored in official files.In the 2025–2026 academic year, the total number of students at the Technical College of the Tajik Technical University named after Academician M. Osimi is 1,895.
