On May 29, 2026, in accordance with the action plan of the Committee for Primary and Secondary Vocational Education under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Department of Science and Innovation together with the Department of Humanities and Law organized a scientific and practical conference entitled \u201cPolitical and Legal Reforms During the Period of Independence: Experience and Results.\u201d The event was held in the Academic Council Hall of the Technical College of the Tajik Technical University named after Academician M. Osimi and was dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.<\/span><\/p>\n

The conference was opened by the Deputy Director for Science and Innovation, Candidate of Technical Sciences and Associate Professor Kholiknazar Azimov. Welcoming the participants, he noted that the fundamental reforms implemented during the years of independence under the wise leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Emomali Rahmon, laid a solid political and legal foundation for national statehood. He emphasized that holding such conferences is of great importance for the in-depth analysis of legal achievements and the development of political awareness among young people.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the conference program, presentations were delivered by Zulfiya Azizmamadova, Head of the Department of Humanities and Law, and Ne’matullo Sharifov, Head of the Department of Chemistry and Ecology.<\/span><\/p>\n

In her presentation, Zulfiya Azizmamadova provided a detailed analysis of the key aspects of the country’s legal development. She emphasized that the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan and the consistent implementation of legal reforms made it possible to recognize human and civil rights and freedoms as the highest values and to establish the legislative foundation of a democratic state governed by the rule of law.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ne’matullo Sharifov linked political reforms with environmental security and sustainable development. He noted that the global initiatives of the Leader of the Nation in the field of water resources and glacier preservation, along with the adoption of modern environmental legislation, are clear examples of Tajikistan\u2019s constructive and sustainable policy on the international stage.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following the presentations, an open and productive discussion took place among lecturers, specialists, and participants. The attendees exchanged views on pressing issues related to strengthening legal awareness among young people and the role of innovation in the development of statehood.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
