On February 4 of the current year, an official festive event dedicated to the Sada festival, entitled \u201cSada Has Come \u2014 A Herald of Navruz\u201d<\/strong>, was held at the Technical College of the Tajik Technical University named after Academician M. Osimi, on the initiative of the college administration.<\/p>\n At the beginning of the event, various types of agricultural products and bakery goods were displayed in the courtyard of the main building of the college. The event was opened by the Director of the College, Zokirjon Mukaram Nizomzoda, who emphasized that it is a source of great pride and joy that the Founder of Peace and National Unity \u2014 Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, has declared the sacred ancestral festivals \u2014 Mehrgon, Sada, Tirgon, and Navruz \u2014 as official national holidays and makes sincere efforts to celebrate them with grandeur. Owing to the cultural policy of the Leader of the Nation and thanks to state independence, the Sada festival has been revived and is now celebrated annually throughout the republic with special splendor.<\/p>\n It was noted that Sada is one of the most ancient seasonal festivals of the Aryan peoples and was traditionally celebrated on the 10th day of the month of Bahman according to the solar calendar. It was also emphasized that the festival is called Sada because the name originates from the number one hundred: from the 10th day of Bahman until the arrival of Navruz, there are fifty days and fifty nights.<\/p>\n During the continuation of the event, Murodali Sobir \u2014 a poet, writer, laureate of the Mirzo Tursunzade Prize, member of the Writers\u2019 Union of Tajikistan \u2014 as well as college students delivered speeches, noting that Sada, regarded since ancient times as a winter festival of our ancestors, holds a \u0434\u043e\u0441\u0442\u043e\u0439\u043d\u043e\u0435 place alongside Navruz, Mehrgon, and Tirgon in the culture of the ancient Tajik nation. Today, the Sada festival, as an authentic cultural heritage of our ancestors, is celebrated with particular grandeur as an integral part of national self-awareness and pride.<\/p>\n Afterwards, guests and members of the college administration visited the exhibition.
